DeclutrMail takes a fundamentally different approach. Unlike Unroll.me (which was caught selling user data), DeclutrMail never reads email content or sells data. What happens if I disconnect Gmail?

If you disconnect your Gmail account, DeclutrMail.ai will no longer be able to access your emails. Your undo history will be preserved for 30 days, allowing you to reconnect and restore any archived emails if needed. After 30 days, the undo history is permanently deleted.

Can I use DeclutrMail.ai with multiple Gmail accounts?

Currently, each DeclutrMail.ai account can connect to one Gmail account at a time. If you need to manage multiple Gmail accounts, you'll need to create separate DeclutrMail.ai accounts for each one. We're working on multi-account support for future releases.

How long does the initial sync take?

The initial sync typically takes 2-5 minutes for most inboxes. For very large inboxes (50,000+ emails), it may take up to 15 minutes. You'll see a progress indicator, and you can start reviewing results as soon as the first batch is ready.

What's the difference between Archive and Trash?

Archive removes emails from your inbox but keeps them searchable in Gmail. Trash moves emails to Gmail's Trash folder, where Gmail may remove them later according to Gmail's retention rules.

Do you support Gmail filters and labels?

Yes! DeclutrMail.ai respects your existing Gmail labels and can work alongside your filters. When we archive emails, we preserve all existing labels. You can also set Auto-Clean policies based on Gmail's categories (Primary, Social, Promotions, etc.).

Can I exclude certain senders from being archived?

Absolutely! In Auto-Clean → Senders, you can disable Auto-Clean for specific domains or set custom policies. Disabled senders will never be archived automatically, even if they match your category policies.

What happens to my data if I cancel my subscription?

If you cancel your Pro subscription, you'll be downgraded to the Starter plan at the end of your billing period. Your undo history and automation settings are preserved. Your data is only deleted if you explicitly delete your DeclutrMail.ai account.

Don't worry! You have 7 full days to undo any action. Go to the Undo page, find the email, and click restore. It will be moved back to your inbox instantly. This is why we built undo protection into every action.

How do I delete my account?

Accepted Answer

You can delete your account from Settings → Account → Delete Account. This will permanently delete all your data, disconnect your Gmail, and cancel any active subscriptions. This action cannot be undone.
