    Refunds are provided for billing errors, duplicate charges, and unresolved technical issues. You can cancel anytime to stop future renewals.

    Refund Policy Overview

    DeclutrMail does not offer blanket no-questions-asked refunds. Refunds are available when there is a billing problem (such as duplicate or incorrect charges) or when core Pro functionality is unusable due to a technical issue that our team cannot resolve in a reasonable timeframe.

    Refund Eligibility

    You're eligible for a refund if: (1) You were charged incorrectly (for example, duplicate transaction or billing error), (2) You are unable to use core Pro features due to a verified technical issue and our support team cannot resolve it within 48 hours, or (3) A refund is required by applicable law. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method.

    Not Eligible for Refund

    Refunds are not available for: (1) Pro Pass one-time purchases, (2) Subscription renewals, (3) Requests based only on completed cleanup usage or change of mind after service value has been consumed, (4) Voluntary downgrades from Pro to Free (you retain Pro until period end), except where required by law.

    How to Request a Refund

    To request a refund, email support@DeclutrMail.ai from the email address associated with your Declutr account. Include: (1) Your account email, (2) Approximate purchase date, (3) Payment method used (Razorpay/Paddle), and (4) A brief description of the billing or technical issue. Our support team will review and respond within 1 business day (Monday-Friday, excluding Indian public holidays).

    Refund Processing & Timeline

    Once approved, refunds are initiated within 1-2 business days. The timeline for funds to appear in your account depends on your payment provider: Razorpay (India): 3-5 business days to your original payment method (UPI, card, net banking). Paddle (International): 5-10 business days depending on your bank and country. You'll receive email confirmation when the refund is processed and again when it's completed by the payment provider.

    Partial Refunds & Prorated Amounts

    We do not offer prorated or partial refunds for unused time. If you cancel a subscription, cancellation stops future renewals and your Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period.

    Subscription Cancellation vs. Refunds

    Cancelling your subscription does NOT automatically trigger a refund. Cancellation prevents future charges and allows you to use Pro features until your current period ends. Refund requests are reviewed separately under the eligibility rules above. You can cancel anytime from Settings → Billing.

    Data & Access After Refund

    Upon refund approval, your account is immediately downgraded to the Free plan. You retain access to: all your email data and undo history within the Free plan's 7-day window, manual cleanup and review features, your account settings and preferences. You lose access to: unlimited monthly actions (reverts to 500/month limit) and nightly automation. Any emails archived beyond the Free plan's limits remain archived but cannot be undone.

    Payment Provider Disputes

    If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute directly with your bank or payment provider without first contacting us, your account may be immediately suspended pending investigation. We strongly encourage you to contact support@DeclutrMail.ai first—we're committed to resolving issues quickly and fairly. Chargebacks often take 30-60 days to resolve, whereas our refund process takes 3-10 days.
